24-7 MORAVIAN lampstand
"Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it is not to go out” (Leviticus 6:13, NASB).
The Ekballo House of Prayer, in partnership with local ministries in Pasadena, hosts the 24/7 Moravian Lampstand - an unceasing offering of united worship and prayer to Jesus, the only worthy One. This House of Prayer is patterned after the New Testament church, who met in the "upper" room day and night in united fervent prayer and worship to the Lord, and the Moravians who fueled an unprecedented missions movement through united day and night intercession.
First Things First: PRAY!
In Acts 1, the disciples gathered in the upper room and “…were united in prayer, gripped with one passion,[s] interceding night and day.” Acts 1:14 TPT. In Acts 2, we see that the Holy Spirit was poured out, a great revival was birthed, and the nations heard the good news in their native tongues, and thousands received the Lord. It all started with united day and night prayer in Acts 1.
In Matthew 9:37-38, when Jesus looked out over the vast ripe harvest fields and saw how great the task was and how few the laborers were, He instructed his disciples to first, PRAY! Later, in Matthew 28, he instructed them to GO. History testifies that fervent prayer always precedes historic movements of God and bountiful harvests! We believe that we are on the brink of another explosive movement rising up on the earth to finish the task of the Great Commission in this generation. But it starts with prayer.
May the lamp of intercession and worship burn day and night until the light of God has penetrated every nation, tongue and tribe!
